DAILIES. . .Hours into my day

on April 12, 2011

News read, frightening; Games played, lost; E-mails read, interesting; Coffee, cold; Reading, Collected Dog Stories, Rudyard Kipling(copyrights 1805 — 1934) . . .some of the reading is difficult as it is a fascinating book of short stories containing incredible dialogue and discription, not to mention wisdom., i.e. “There is sorrow enough in the natural way> From men and women to fill our day> But when we are certain of sorrow in store> Why do we always arrange for more?> Brothers and sister, I bid you beware Of giving your heart to a dog to tear.” The book is also excellently illustrated with drawings by Marguerite Kirmse.

  1. That’s a classic now. I know I read it at one time, but it was so long ago that I could probably read it again and all the stories would be new to me. ::grin::
