 RECENTLY READ AN ARTICLE from an author of 30+ books published who detests research; “the kind of information you need for fiction writing you can’t find in reference books” she writes.  “As a kind of fringe benefit (writing the book first method) forces a writer to abide by that classic fiction writing rule: Write what you know.”
